What is Basildon one asks? Where? What is like to live in the town and meet the people? This is a small piece of a project about the town of Basildon, Essex, it aimed to explore the way of life in this obscure town nestled in the essex countryside. A zine was created to try an instil some form of love towards the town and its entertainment. On the right is a flyer used to advertise the zine.
Part of a project entitled 'futurology' where i was to look forward to the future and consider what could happen. I then created a tourist information brochure for london set in 2027. I wrote a suggestive history with references to a previous university project entitled empyrea and made claims that the empyrea political party were successful in becoming the UK government. Older buildings such as the London city hall became a casino. The image is an illustration advertising the BT tower which had become a hotel.
Noel Gallagher, Experimentation with various printing techniques
A CD album cover created for a live recording of a show by the rock band muse. The use of lino prints instead of a photograph or digital montage was because it was a bootleg recording of the show, and as such the rawness of the performance needed to be shown in the package design also.
An illustration project based upon the question:
"How do you like your eggs?"
I asked people this question and wrote down their responses and drew an illustration of them, these drawings were then collected and case-bound in a A5 sized book entitled "Egg Medium".
Series of three individual stylised drawings, one of which is to be used by the clothing company Let The Kids Dance on a range of t-shirts.
