Over the years I have made a handful of fonts and sold them under the banner of Kraken, here they are presented to you. To view the fonts simply drag the images around.
Bollard is a fat and cuddly sans serif typeface which was created during typographic experiments with simple shapes and elements. I had seen many fat fonts however these were still all quite angular and didn't have the softer appearance that I craved. So I took it upon myself to construct this font made of circles and gentle curved corners and unleashed it into the wild a few months later.
A typeface that saw the end of my university life, it was shown in three exhibitions, My final degree show at University, Eleven Pt, an exhibition of eleven graduates which took place in Shoreditch, London & D&AD New Blood 2008. The poster that was displayed at New Blood was featured in the creative review blog.
When I was in the process of creating the squiggles typeface, this was an early prototype for my experimentations creating joined up letterforms. It has a series of connecting rods that reach up or down to the line above or below, thus enabling to connect multiple lines of text.
A rough and ready typeface that comes in uppercase only.
